Welcome to my page! Hello, I'm Ms. Castillo, and I am the Instrumental Music Teacher at Nimitz Middle School. I teach several Band, Orchestra, and Piano classes and I have worked at Nimitz since the year of 2000. I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor's Degree in Instrumental Music and shortly after received a teaching credential also from CSULB. Prior, to working at Nimitz, I taught part-time for the Los Alamitos Elementary School's After school Music Program and had a successful flute and piano studio of private students who were aged 3 1/2 to 85 years old. Recently, I completed two Master's Degrees: 1) Ed. Tech., and 2) Educational Administration. Lastly, I recently joined a community of Edtech Doctoral students at Pepperdine University in 2008. We will see where that leads me... hmm?
