Community Support: How you Can HELP?

The joint effort of the school community: students, teachers and school staff, parents, and businesses is necessary to encourage students to stay in school and work hard for academic success.

Last year the following businesses supported the Nimitz Intervention Program to encourage student attendance and academic success:

In-n-Out - coupons for free hamburger
Little Cesar’s Pizza-coupons for free pizza
Peter Piper Pizza-coupons for pizza, drinks and/or tokens

By registering online and identifying Nimitz Middle School-Huntington Park, the following organizations will make donations to Nimitz Intervention Program. Donations will be used to purchase incentives: school supplies, stickers, etc, to encourage at risk students to stay in school and participate in these intervention programs.

Washington Mutual-WaMoola for Schools. When you use your Washington Mutual Visa or Debit Card, Washington Mutual will make a donation to Nimitz.

Schoolpop Shop and Earn Program: Schoolpop.com. This website link lists over 400 merchants who will make donations to the school each time you use schoolpop.com to access the merchant of your choice.

For assistance on how you can help to support your neighborhood school, please contact Nimitz’s Intervention Office at (323) 887-5451.
