Prinicipal's Message from Mr. Frank Vasquez
 We, the staff and student body of Nimitz Middle School want to welcome you to our WEB PAGE and, therein, our school. Our school serves the communities of Huntington Park, Bell, Maywood and Cudahy. We have about 150 teachers to educate about 3,500 students. As a result, Nimitz is one of the largest middle schools in the entire country. Nimitz has both active participants in the education process by staff and parents through School-Based Management as well as various advisory councils. We have active intervention methodologies to assist those students who may have stumbled in their learning. More important than the size of our campus, however, is the immeasurably beautiful quality of our student's attitudes toward learning and life, as well as their fantastic drive to improve both. Students at Nimitz do not just talk about improving test scores. With the help of a stable, supremely competent, as well as confident, staff, students have raised test scores for two years in a row!
